Learning to Swim While Drowning: Poems and Essays for Your Inner Heroine

What’s the difference between rock bottom and a clean slate?

What you build on top of it.

Learning to Swim While Drowning is a collection of poetry and essays I wrote during my initiation to womanhood. Like most women, I did not know what I had undergone until it had already changed me. This is an account of the mystical forge all girls pass through that I wrote over the years and collected in a moment. I hope that in them you see the fortitude, wisdom, and power that exists within you and that you remember that there are many pains in life we will one day be nostalgic for.

I love you.

How to Cure a Lonely Heart: A Poetic Manual for Falling in Love

How to Cure a Lonely Heart is an interactive collection of poems, essays, activities, questions, and art meant to be shared between lovers and friends. I hope for it to be a bridge between hearts, a tool that creates those deepest connections amongst people which make every great mystery answerable.

This book is currently serialized through free, downloadable PDFs on my Substack. It will be available soon as a pretty expanded workbook you can use to wax poetic on your own love story.
